Sarcocca Confusa is a small shrub which has insignificant flowers with the most wonderful, sweet scent, ans shiny red and black berries – and all this in January! I even found white-bottom bees in the flowers yesterday.

Lovely plant this. Extremely hardy which is good considering what is coming our way!
I saw this in flower in London and it was absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had space to plant it in the current garden in Suffolk – perhaps the next one!
