Gone

How did I miss them? The Tulip Tree and the paeonies have come and gone in Greenwich Park.

15-7-9 Greenwich Park LR-6006 15-7-9 Greenwich Park LR-6013But life goes on, relentlessly: the mulberries are ripening, there are a few daylilies still flowering, Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ is grand, and Cleopatra is beautiful in the rose garden.

  1. But the seed pods are so interesting too. 🙂 Crocosmia buds are just about showing color here, so we are probably about 2 weeks apart in bloom time (weather permitting!).

    • Yes, the pods are interesting, and I could probably play with them to produce some ‘arty’ photographs – but I would have liked to see the paeonies….
