Pensthorpe Nature Reserve

I visited Pensthorpe to see the Millennium Garden designed by Piet Oudolf – it was heavenly!

I could go on for quite a while – this garden is absolutely stunning!!!

    • Thank you! It was quite tricky because the day started bright and so balancing the plants with the bright sky was challenging, and then the day clouded over and was somewhat dull. My companion tends to get very impatient when I take out the camera so it was even trickier! I used both the Canon Powershot 240SX (semi-automatic) and the Canon 600 DSLR with post-production work in Lightroom on a Mac Notebook

  1. It looks lovely 🙂 And very peaceful. I kind of wish I could get that feel about my own garden – albeit I don’t have such an extensive property 🙂

    • It was peaceful, but I find that kind of peace in my own, small gardens. I think the peace is an internal state, a feeling ok about it and the work I have done.

I'd love to hear from you!
