I have been replanting one of the beds in the Suffolk garden – hard work – and at the end of day sagged into a chair with a glass of white wine to enjoy the results.

I have been having trouble with broadband speed all day and have been unable to upload photos to my blog…very frustrating… so these lovely photos of yours Candy (when they finally loaded!) were a real tonic! it looks a wonderful garden!
Ah, superfast broadband in rural areas – a joke! In our village it comes via the telephone wire and if two of us use the router then you have to multitask – cook, or clean, or something while uploading photographs. The garden is quite small, but every inch is planted, and it has been quite a challenge to get the plants in the a place they like. Every year it changes a little and I have just replanted one of the beds – no photographs yet – but hope it will work.
Broadband a bit better today…so blog writing limps along! Your garden sounds a wonderful little secret place.

I might just do that when we are in Southwold…is the pub worth a visit…does it do food?
Great! The Poacher has great beer and the fish & chips are very good, but it is closed at lunchtimes, generally. Friday evening is a very social evening.. The Fox & Goose in Fressingfield is a good restaurant. The pub in Huntingfield, nearby, apparently has good food (but check if it is open every lunchtime) and the church there is well worth visiting to see the ceiling. Hope you enjoy Suffolk – the heather at Dunwich just might still be on.
