You might think you were in a Park – but this is a Roof Garden – Crossrail Place Roof Garden in Canary Wharf and it is GORGEOUS! Do visit during Open Garden Squares Weekend when there were will lots of things to do, in addition to enjoying the plants and the green space.
It must be a big roof! What an amazing place, such dense planting. It must be quite tranquil surrounded by all that greenery.
It is quite big, but not as big as Sky Garden, I don’t think. I can’t find the size – it must be on the internet somewhere. And yes, this year it is suddenly quite extraordinarily beautiful. All the tree ferns were burnt by the winter weather, but the crowns were protected and they are recovering, and the ferns themselves (and there are a lot) are absolutely stunning.
