I think all the hard work since February is starting to pay off. Now we just need some nice warm weather so that we can sit in the garden, and enjoy it.

The plants are all growing – I really need to leave it alone now and wait to see what makes it through the rest of the year. When I look back I can see that I have made quite a lot of changes over the years!

White

I didnโ€™t expect to have any arum lily flowers because they were transplanted in February, but there are at least a dozen. And the libertias are also looking good. I hope the two clumps under the trees willl also flourish.

Colour!

The colour now is from the geraniums, and the wallflowers, which I am really enjoying. And the aquilegias are slowly spreading – this one just popped up, and I can see more starting to appear in odd corners.

Ferns

These ferns were dug up in February, separated, and replanted in a shady corner, and it seems to be working! I think they are Dryopteris Felix-Mas, the hardy male fern, and they are surrounded by Japanese anemones, paeonies, some hardy geraniums, and a variegated carex. I have been watering too.
