What strange times! My photo exhibition happened in the nick of time and now that we are asked to avoid social contact there will be plenty of time for gardening, and other projects. So this is a quick update on The City Garden in mid-March with my Six on Saturday.
Here we are in the City Garden at the end of February and I have been totally silent for quite a while! I have, however, been busy with several other activities – a short IT course, a few tailoring lessons, and a photography exhibition. I have told myself it isn’t gardening weather but just recently I have managed an hour or two and so here I am with my Six on Saturday!
It has been a busy week followed by a grey and wet Saturday which was not conducive to gardening. However, there was a little window in the wind and rain and I popped out for an hour in the City Garden on a wet Saturday to find Six on Saturday. Unlike The Propagator my bulbs are still looking accusingly at me – next week!
It has been a hard-thinking day with the camera so I am just sitting in the garden, ruminating on what needs to be done in the autumn/spring. No words – just the pictures.
The City Garden is starting to look very abundant, even messy in places, leading me to think about changes that will be needed in the autumn and spring, but in the meantime I am pleased with several ideas, and particularly these ‘Six on Saturday’!
