Goodbye to The Fortnight Garden

The Fortnight Garden has been good to me but it is time to say โ€˜goodbyeโ€™ because it now has another, new custodian. And so I am going to look back over the years and remember how it has developed.

In the beginning

The garden was completely dug out and redesigned.

Fruit

The fruit trees were generous and I stocked the larder with quince jelly and membrillo, and plum jam!


Some plants

The garden was planted with perennials and it has been interesting to see how some have thrived, and others have been swamped.

Some came from London originally.


So, it was good.
